Job summary

ICONNECT IT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS DMCC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Managed Services team and actively support the security of our IT environment through hands-on monitoring, incident response, and day-to-day security operations.

The role involves coordinating with internal IT teams and external vendors, traveling to customer sites as needed, and ensuring secure configurations across firewalls, VPNs, endpoints, and access controls.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity support, managed services, or IT security roles.
• Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, anti-virus, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Ability to monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and support remediation.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance and best practices.
