Curtin Dubai invites an Adjunct Lecturer in Cybersecurity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, bridging into computing and AI units. You will teach courses, engage students, and assess performance, drawing on industry knowledge to prepare graduates for information security roles.

The role supports interdisciplinary AI/ML applications in threat detection and analytics, with experience in cloud security and risk management considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years industry/teaching experience in cybersecurity.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent are valued.
• Experience teaching in higher education across face-to-face/online.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (Blackboard/Canvas/Moodle) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, labs, and workshops in cybersecurity and related areas.
• Assess examinations, quizzes, assignments, and projects per academic requirements.
• Provide timely feedback and support to student learning and progression.
• Hold regular consultation hours and mentor students toward success.
• Contribute to improvements in teaching quality, learning experience, and assessment practices.
• Collaborate with Curtin Perth counterparts and internal stakeholders.
