Job summary

Client of AIQU in Dubai seeks an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead security initiatives through full project lifecycles, align cross-functional teams, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while upholding the highest security standards.

You will define scope, manage risks, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and report progress to senior management. The role requires PMP, strong security knowledge, and excellent English communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec or related field
• 5+ years in cyber security project management
• PMP certification
• Strong security know‑how: network security, vulnerability mgmt, incident response
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Experience with risk assessments and mitigations
• Proficiency with MS Project / JIRA
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact security initiatives in Dubai You will manage the full project lifecycle for technical security implementations coordinate cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely on-budget delivery while upholding the highest security standards

Responsibilities

• Define project scope objectives deliverables and timelines for cyber security initiativesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans schedules budgets and resource allocations
• Coordinate with technical teams vendors and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution
• Manage stakeholder communications expectations and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify assess and mitigate project risks issues and dependencies
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies and prepare regular status reports for senior management
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and internal security policies
• Drive project closure activities including lessons learned documentation handover and post-implementation reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field7 10 years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 5 years focused on cyber security engagements
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong technical understanding of cyber security concepts including network security, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience performing risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Experience working in the UAE or broader Middle East region
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NESA, GDPR, or other relevant regulatory frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Master s degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or related discipline
