Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Strong 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawing skills.
• Experience with thermal and structural/FEA for aerospace or precision mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of materials, fasteners, tolerances, manufactur­ing processes, and design for assembly.
• Comfortable working in a lab or cleanroom and supporting satellite assembly, integration, and test.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and structural analysis for CubeSat components.
• Create CAD models and precise engineering drawings.
• Conduct assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities with students.
• Ensure manufacturability, documentation, and robust interfaces.
