Job summary

Dubai Public Prosecution is seeking a diligent legal support officer to manage case files, verify attachments, and coordinate with prosecutors during investigations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Law, fast typing skills, and compliance with military service. Male applicants only in line with specifications. You will open investigation reports, prepare detention orders, liaise with police, and attend sessions with prosecutors.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check case files before presenting to the prosecutor.
• Present files of criminal cases with seizures to the prosecutor.
• Open investigation reports and verify statements, documents, and photos.
• Print dispositions in opinion cases (referral order, preservation, recovery, lack of jurisdiction).
• Prepare and print detention, release, bail, costs, and summons orders.
• Note attendance of summoned persons in investigation reports.
• Handle seizures and deposits under supervision.
• Transport with the prosecutor to investigate scenes or inspect facilities.
• Follow up detention orders and expiration dates.
• Follow up receipt of technical reports from authorities.
• Organize appointments of parties and reviewers.
• Manage prosecutor's administrative work, correspondence, and contacts.
• Contact police stations to request detainees.
• Follow up reviewer requests through the prosecution program.
• Attend extension sessions with the prosecutor.
• Attend shifts with the prosecutor on weekends/holidays.
