Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Credit Controller to manage premium collections and coordinate with insurers, brokers and clients in Dubai. You will lead collections, resolve escalations, and drive improvements in the credit control process.

The role requires a professional finance degree and 5+ years in credit control or accounts receivable, with strong reconciliation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for multi-party accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Experience in insurance sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Request and obtain insurer statements; ensure all client premium collections are completed as quickly as possible
• Follow up with clients to secure timely premium collections and prevent Notice of Cancellation, suspensions, or policy interruptions
• Update insurers, broking teams regularly on collection status and expected remittances
• Handle escalations from clients, insurers, and internal teams with timely and professional resolution
• Request and manage Receipt Vouchers from insurers; share with clients and internal departments
• Respond to queries from clients, sales teams, and internal departments regarding premium status and account balances
• Conduct internal meetings with Brokers and the Sales team to review outstanding premiums, align on priorities, and clear aged balances
• Support process improvements, enhance collection tracking, and ensure adherence to internal control
• Monthly & ad hoc reporting of outstanding brokerages & premiums with senior management and stakeholders
• Any adhoc credit control related tasks that may come up from time to time

Key Responsibilities

• Request and obtain insurer statements; ensure all client premium collections are completed as quickly as possible
