Job summary

Lockton in Dubai is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to manage premium collections and coordinate with insurers, clients, and internal teams.

You will lead escalations, monitor aging balances, prepare reports for senior management, and contribute to process improvements ensuring control and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or relevant Insurance experience.
• Strong reconciliation and account management skills, with the ability to handle complex, multi-party accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Request and obtain insurer statements; ensure all client premium collections are completed as quickly as possible.
• Follow up with clients to secure timely premium collections and prevent Notice of Cancellation, suspensions, or policy interruptions.
• Update insurers, broking teams regularly on collection status and expected remittances.
• Handle escalations from clients, insurers, and internal teams with timely and professional resolution.
• Request and manage Receipt Vouchers from insurers; share with clients and internal departments.
• Respond to queries from clients, sales teams, and internal departments regarding premium status and account balances.
• Conduct internal meetings with Brokers and the Sales team to review outstanding premiums, align on priorities, and clear aged balances.
• Support process improvements, enhance collection tracking, and ensure adherence to internal control.
• Monthly & ad hoc reporting of outstanding brokerages & premiums with senior management and stakeholders.
• Any adhoc credit control related tasks that may come up from time to time.
