Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Dubai seeks an experienced Credit & Financial Risk Manager to lead the credit risk strategy across investment and lending portfolios. You will shape risk appetite, assess credit risk, and guide restructuring/workouts with senior teams.

You will partner with Investment Teams through deal structuring, credit assessment, and approvals, and drive monitoring, impairment recommendations, and risk reporting. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Credit Risk Management, Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Private Debt, Development Finance, or Investment Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the organization's credit risk strategy, framework, and risk appetite implementation.
• Partner with Investment Teams throughout the investment lifecycle, including: Deal structuring, Credit assessment, Investment approval recommendations.
• Drive portfolio-wide credit risk monitoring and reporting, including: Financial and operational performance monitoring, Impairment and provisioning recommendations.
• Manage and lead: Loan restructurings, Workout situations, Lender negotiations, Credit recovery strategies.
• Analyze country, sector, and portfolio risks and present recommendations to Senior Management, CFO, and Investment Committees.
• Develop and improve credit risk processes, tools, scorecards, and risk management practices aligned with industry best practices.
• Represent the organization on credit risk matters with investors, co-investors, partners, and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic risk professional with strong expertise in credit risk strategy, investment risk assessment, portfolio management, and restructuring/workouts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and enhance the organization's credit risk strategy, framework, and risk appetite implementation.
