Job summary

Avanta Works in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Courier Delivery Specialist to ensure timely and safe package delivery. You will plan routes, load/unload shipments, and communicate delivery details with clients while handling payments when needed.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2+ years courier experience, a valid driver’s license, and fluency in English. The role is full-time and located on-site in Sharjah.

Courier Delivery Specialist

We are a leading courier company in Sharjah, UAE and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Courier Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of packages to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient routes for package delivery based on locations and deadlines
• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicle
• Ensure packages are securely packed and labeled for transportation
• Deliver packages to clients in a timely manner, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Collect payments from clients when necessary
• Complete delivery logs and maintain accurate records of all deliveries made

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a courier or in a similar role preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent knowledge of Sharjah roads and traffic regulations
• Fluent in English with good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages
• Indian nationality preferred

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
