Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Cost Manager (CSA) in the UAE to lead cost planning, estimates, and cost reporting for major client developments. You will manage budgets, prepare BOQs, tender analysis, and coordinate with project teams to drive value.

With 5+ years in quantity surveying or cost management and MRICS preferred, you will communicate with clients and stakeholders, resolve commercial issues, and support final accounts to secure best value for projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management (CSA).
• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost planning and estimating on large-scale industrial and commercial projects.
• Experience with CostX and Excel-based cost modelling.
• Experience preparing BOQs, tender documentation, tender analysis, and procurement support.
• Ability to develop concept, schematic, and detailed design cost plans.
• Understanding of benchmarking, value engineering, and cost reporting.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to lead commercial discussions.

Responsibilities

• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support project management through cost documentation and timely communication.
• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation to reporting.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variations.
• Assist in settlements of disputes and claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial, change order, and contract issues promptly and fairly.
• Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts to secure client value.
