A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their cost department. The successful candidate will support the cost accounting team with financial records and transaction processes. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and proven experience in a similar role is required. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining cost accounting records and preparing cost reports.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information as needed.

Skills

Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
