Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end cost accounting, food costing, inventory tracking, and stock valuation procedures.
• Formulate detailed management cost reports, budget models, and variance analysis summaries.
• Monitor operational profit margins, identifying cost leakage, trend variances, and efficiency opportunities.
• Provide analytical financial insights to executive management to drive strategic operational decisions.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and cost audit frameworks across all F&B units.

Description:

Al Ain Mills is seeking a qualified and experienced Cost Accountant to lead cost control operations within its Food & Beverage division in Sharjah. This position focuses on implementing financial controls, managing food costing metrics, conducting stock valuations, and delivering precise cost accounting analyses to support strategic management decisions.

The successful candidate will analyze operational costs, track budget variances, monitor profitability trends, and optimize financial performance across F&B workflows. Standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct end-to-end cost accounting, food costing, inventory tracking, and stock valuation procedures.


• Formulate detailed management cost reports, budget models, and variance analysis summaries.


• Monitor operational profit margins, identifying cost leakage, trend variances, and efficiency opportunities.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Active CA, ACCA, or CMA credential (mandatory); 4 to 5 years of specialized cost accounting experience within the UAE F&B sector.


• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in food costing methods, inventory management software, budgeting, variance tracking, and cost auditing systems.


• Key Competencies: Financial reporting precision, independent analytical thinking, strong operational risk assessment, and deep knowledge of F&B supply chain controls.
