Job summary

A well-known Events organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Copywriter/Editor to produce high-quality written content for various formats. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in copywriting, particularly within the arts and culture sector. You'll be responsible for drafting communications for senior leadership, creating content for publications, and collaborating with designers. This role requires excellent English proficiency and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in copywriting, ideally within the arts and culture sector.
  • Experience in producing content for both print and digital formats.
  • Competence in working independently and in founder-facing roles.

Our client a well‑known Events organization in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Copywriter/Editor (English).

The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of high-quality written content across various formats ensuring alignment with strategic objectives tone and brand guidelines. This role is particularly suited for individuals who are confident, highly organized and comfortable operating in a high‑level founder-facing capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Draft speeches, forewords and high‑level communications in English on behalf of senior leadership.
  • Create compelling written content for journals, magazines, newsletters, books and other publications.
  • Develop content to support events programs and festivals for websites, brochures and marketing materials.
  • Conduct thorough research using credible internal and external sources to support content development.
  • Write, edit and proofread all materials for tone, accuracy, grammar and adherence to brand style.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to finalize content and support its release for print and digital production.
  • Liaise with designers and production vendors to ensure content meets approved specifications and quality standards.
  • Work with external service providers including PR and advertising agencies, publishing houses, designers and developers when required.
  • Draft personalized communications such as congratulatory or thank-you letters for VIPs and dignitaries.
  • Review and refine social media content for accuracy, tone and consistency.
  • Write and edit website content including pages, articles and blog posts.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve online content visibility and ranking.
  • Modify, expand or adapt content as needed based on feedback and evolving project needs.
Requirements
