Job summary

flydubai is seeking a tool store professional to manage AMC aircraft tooling in Dubai. The role focuses on issuing and receiving tooling for authorised personnel, maintaining accountability with shadow boards, RFID systems, and vending solutions, and ensuring accurate digital records.

You will perform shift-based tool inventories, report missing items, monitor calibration dates, and coordinate calibration activities with approved providers, all while complying with SMS, GCAA, and EASA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for issuance and receiving of AMC aircraft tooling to authorised personnel.
• Maintains accountability for AMC tooling through shadow boards, toolboxes, RFID/barcode systems.
• Conducts tool inventory checks during shifts and on completion of work packages.
• Reports missing tools and investigates incidents per company procedures.
• Records all tool transactions in the digital tool management system.
• Maintains storage locations for tooling, calibrated equipment, and consumables.
• Ensures proper storage conditions and daily housekeeping in tool store areas.
• Inspects tooling on return for damage and quarantines unserviceable items.
• Monitors calibration due dates and coordinates calibration with providers.
• Adheres to Safety Management System and regulatory requirements.

Job description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To conduct and support the required activities of the AMC Tool Store Department, including upholding the physical and digital management and control of tools as per GCAA, EASA and flydubai company standards and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support for the issuance and receiving of AMC aircraft tooling and tools to authorised personnel in accordance with established flydubai company tool control procedures.
• Maintains full accountability for all AMC aircraft tooling and tools through a combination of physical shadow boards, toolboxes, vending systems, tool cabinets, tool racking, RFID/barcode technology, and / or other approved electronic / digital tool control systems.
• Conducts tool inventory checks at time of shift changes, work package completion, and as and when required.
• Reports and investigates instances of missing tools immediately in accordance with flydubai company procedures.
• Ensures all tool transactions are accurately recorded within the provided flydubai digital tool management system in accordance with flydubai company procedures.
• Maintains organised storage locations for AMC aircraft tooling and tools, specialist tooling, calibrated equipment, and consumables in accordance with flydubai company procedures.
• Ensures correct storage conditions are maintained and perform daily housekeeping activities within the AMC Tool Store areas.
• Conducts inspection of AMC aircraft tooling and tools upon return for damage, wear, cleanliness, completeness and remove and quarantine all unserviceable items from service.
• Monitors calibration due dates of all AMC aircraft tooling and tools, remove and quarantine tools approaching or exceeding calibration date expiry.
• Coordinates required calibration activity with approved providers and maintain accurate calibration records in accordance with flydubai company procedures.
• Adheres to flydubai company Safety Management System (SMS) requirements and maintain compliance with GCAA and EASA aviation regulatory requirements and flydubai company quality procedures.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
