Job description

Role Purpose

Responsible for setting up and operating machines and equipment to fabricate tissue, sanitary napkins, and other hygienic paper products under the direction of the Team Leader. This role handles complex operations, including working with computerized equipment, to support manufacturing and R&D activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Set up and operate machines with zero-defect tolerance under Team Leader supervision.
• Perform SKU changes, replacing parts, and adjusting conveyors, heaters, folders, and other machine components.
• Feed new materials according to manufacturer recommendations and Team Leader instructions.
• Troubleshoot and solve minor breakdowns, reporting major issues to the Team Leader.
• Verify the compatibility of raw materials with machines, reporting deficiencies immediately.
• Maintain SKU settings records to improve changeover efficiency.
• Actively participate in machine improvement projects.
• Ensure machines are maintained in safe, efficient operating condition.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader.

• Follow HSE policies and procedures, apply SCD safety expectations, and wear required PPE.
• Safeguard personal health and safety as well as that of colleagues.
• Immediately report unsafe practices, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
