Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of the market and HVAC Controls/BMS products/Chiller Plant Manager.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractors follow safety guidelines and rules.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns.
  • Report directly to the Project Engineer.
  • Coordinate with customer for Factory acceptance test.
  • Carry out site survey for estimation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible to ensure that main contractors, technicians, and sub‑contractors follow the defined safety guidelines & rules at work.
  • Responsible to maintain customer satisfaction by identifying concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing internal and external communication plans with stakeholders to communicate project status.
  • Direct reporting to the Project Engineer and follow the schedule and guidance.
  • Follow up Consultant approval on the submittal.
  • Follow up for delivery of materials.
  • Carry out site survey for estimation.
  • Coordinate with customer for Factory acceptance test / Site acceptance test.
  • Site supervision, testing & commissioning, integration of systems and final hand‑over of the Project.
  • Wiring, termination, testing and commissioning of BMS System & Chiller Plant Controls System.
  • Documentation/Reports to be maintained throughout the life cycle of the Project.
  • On‑time submission of Reports & Timesheets.
Role Purpose

The main role of the Controls Project Technician is to ensure day‑to‑day Controls Projects and Maintenance works are carried out within the framework of Carrier Ethics & Compliance, EH&S policy & Quality Management System and Approval Matrix.

Minimum Qualifications
  • ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent stream.
Experience
  • 2‑5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of the market and HVAC Controls/BMS products/Chiller Plant Manager.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, excellent negotiations and computer skills.
Competencies
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic will be an added advantage.
  • Communication skills.
  • Customer focus oriented.
