Job summary

Avanta Works in El-Ain, UAE is seeking an Indian Accountant on a contract basis. The role covers end-to-end financial management, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.

The candidate will handle financial statements, tax returns, audits, and stakeholder communications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years of UAE or similar market experience, proficiency in QuickBooks or SAP, strong detail orientation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting principles, laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good English communication; Arabic a plus.
• Experience with Indian clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor budget variances and provide financial analysis to support decision making.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records.
• Communicate with stakeholders including clients, vendors, and government agencies as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement changes in processes.
