The successful candidate will ensure legal compliance, support risk management, and coordinate with various stakeholders. Role Summary

A Contract Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing and managing contracts across engineering procurement and construction projects. They ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations while supporting project execution cost control and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Preparation & Review: Draft review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts and service agreements in line with project and legal requirements.
  • Tendering Support: Assist in the preparation of bid documents, tender evaluations and contract award processes.
  • Risk & Claim Management: Identify potential contractual risks and support claim preparation, dispute resolution and variation management.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to contract terms, conditions and applicable laws/regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors and legal teams to align contract terms with project needs.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate contract records logs and reports for audits and performance tracking.
