Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a highly skilled Contract Agronomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on expert crop production advice, management strategies, and on-site field work to help farmers optimize yields and quality.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Agronomy, at least 5 years of crop production experience, and excellent English communication. Travel within the Abu Dhabi region is expected, with a competitive salary package offered for this contract opportunity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in crop production and management.
Strong knowledge of plant science, soil health, irrigation techniques, pest control methods.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Willingness to travel within Abu Dhabi region.

Responsibilities

Conduct field visits to assess crop conditions, identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement crop management plans to optimize production and quality.
Monitor and analyze data on soil health, water usage, and pest control strategies.
Collaborate with farmers to understand their needs and provide technical support as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to improve farming practices.
Prepare reports on crop performance, challenges faced, and recommended solutions.
