Job summary

Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic urological conditions, performing endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgeries, and supervising junior physicians while maintaining EMR documentation per DOH

Qualifications

• MD in Urology.
• Board Certification Qualification preferred.
• Valid DOH License or Eligibility as Consultant Urologist.

Position: Consultant Urologist

Reports To: Medical Director

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, DOH-licensed Consultant Urologist with strong surgical expertise and a proven, comprehensive operative logbook to provide high-quality diagnostic, medical, and surgical urological care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions.
• Perform a wide range of urological procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgeries.
• Manage urinary stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract conditions, and urological emergencies.
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with DOH and hospital standards.
• Supervise junior physicians and participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MDin Urology.
• Board Certification Qualification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Urologist.
• Strong surgical skills with a well-documented and comprehensive operative logbook.
• Extensive experience in general urology, endourology, urinary stone management, and urological surgery.
• Tertiary hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent clinical decision-making and strong operative skills.
• Proven ability to independently perform a broad range of urological procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Patient-centered approach.
• Leadership, mentoring, and teaching abilities.
• Proficiency in EMR systems.
