We are seeking an experienced Consultant Urologist to join our growing surgical team at SSBZH. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of adult urological conditions while leading high-quality patient care and supporting the continued growth of Urology services within the hospital. The Consultant will be expected to demonstrate clinical leadership and deliver evidence-based care in line with international best practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of urological disorders affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• Perform advanced urological procedures and surgeries within granted clinical privileges.
• Evaluate, investigate, and manage patients presenting with both elective and emergency urological conditions.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
• Manage patients with kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary tract disorders, male infertility,and urological malignancies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to the professional development of clinical staff.
• Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as required.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of a recognized specialty qualification in Urology in accordance with the UAE Professional QualificationRequirements (PQR) Tier 1.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-specialty qualification experience as a Consultant Urologist.
• DOH License or DOH Eligibility as Consultant Urology.
• Experience in managing a comprehensive range of urological conditions and performing advanced urologicalprocedures.
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
