A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Urologist to deliver comprehensive adult care, diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, and perform advanced surgeries in a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires a Western postgraduate qualification, consultant-level experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills; high standards of patient safety and ongoing professional development are essential.

Formación

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Urology.
• Consultant-level experience in Urology.
• Western qualification such as UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Experience with minimally invasive/endoscopic urology is preferred.
• Experience in a tertiary multispecialty hospital is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of urological conditions.
• Manage common and complex conditions involving the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• Perform elective and emergency urological procedures and surgeries.
• Manage conditions including urinary stones, BPH, urinary obstruction, infections, and urological cancers.
• Perform endoscopic and minimally invasive urological procedures where appropriately trained.
• Evaluate and manage male reproductive and sexual health conditions.
• Provide appropriate preoperative, operative, and postoperative care.
• Interpret relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
• Work closely with radiologists, oncologists, nephrologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient-safety and infection-control standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.

Job Summary

The role involves diagnosing and managing a broad range of urological conditions, performing advanced surgical procedures, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general and complex urology, excellent surgical skills, and a recognized Western postgraduate qualification.

• Experience in a tertiary, multispecialty, or leading private hospital is preferred.
• Strong clinical and surgical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
