Job summary

Wizejob in Dubai is seeking an experienced Radiologist to interpret medical images and guide patient care. The expert will determine required images and coordinate with Radiology Technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

The role includes administering trace amounts of radioactive substances, performing image-guided procedures, and collaborating with doctors, nurses and staff to manage cancer treatment plans and pain control.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Specialization degree and 5-year residency completed.
• Valid state licensure to practice radiology.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Good manners and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care.
• Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians.
• Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images.
• Performing minimally invasive procedures with image guidance (embolization, angioplasty, ablation).
• Collaborating with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Radiology Technicians to treat and manage pain.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Creating a radiation treatment plan for cancer patients.
• Managing radiation side effects in cancer patients.

Radiologist Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid ACLS and BLS certification

• Proven success with relevant procedures and treatments
• Compliance with all laws and hospital policies
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the specialty is preferred
• Good manners and effective communication skills.
