Stafmed is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist for a full-time role at a leading UAE hospital. The candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders in infants, children and adolescents.

Key requirements include board certification in pediatrics with subspecialty training in pediatric endocrinology, 3–5 years post‑specialisation, and eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOHAP licensing.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatrics with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS/RCPSC/UK CCT/CCST or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of post‑specialisation experience in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Eligibility for Consultant licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Manage growth disorders and puberty‑related issues.
• Treat pediatric diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2) and thyroid/adrenal conditions.
• Develop personalised, evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Engage in clinical governance, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Support departmental education, teaching and service development.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist with strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents.

The successful candidate will join a progressive clinical environment equipped to deliver advanced, patient-centred pediatric endocrinology services.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders
• Manage growth disorders, short stature, and disorders of puberty
• Evaluate and treat pediatric diabetes, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
• Manage thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and calcium/bone metabolism conditions
• Diagnose and treat hormonal disorders and endocrine abnormalities
• Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support departmental education, teaching, and service development

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatrics with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
