• Recognised qualifications such as American Board of Ophthalmology, UK CCT / FRCOphth, European Board / national specialist certification, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian FRANZCO, Arab Board, MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage medical and surgical eye conditions across outpatient and operative settings.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures according to subspecialty scope such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea or oculoplastic.
• Interpret ophthalmic imaging, visual fields, OCT and diagnostic tests.
• Manage urgent eye conditions including trauma, acute vision loss, infection and raised intraocular pressure.
• Coordinate care with optometry, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and pediatric teams when required.
• Maintain surgical safety, consent, documentation and infection control standards.

Role Overview
