Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests to determine the presence and stage of cancer.
  2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgical interventions.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and nursing staff, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  4. Monitor patients’ progress throughout their treatment journey and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their response and side effects.
  5. Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnoses, treatment options, and potential side effects, providing emotional support and resources.

  7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in oncology, attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development.

  10. Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options.
Preferred Candidate
  1. Board certification in oncology, with a strong educational background from a reputable medical institution.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
