The responsibilities of Nephrologists include performing diagnoses, establishing health care plans, and managing patient care. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage kidney-related disorders, including CKD, acute renal failure, glomerulonephritis, and nephrotic syndrome
• Oversee dialysis care (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), including initiating and adjusting treatment plans
• Manage hypertension and electrolyte imbalances commonly associated with renal disease
• Coordinate pre- and post-transplant care for renal transplant patients
• Interpret laboratory results, urinalysis, imaging, and renal biopsies
