Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai seeks an experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our advanced imaging and minimally invasive therapy team. You will perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical colleagues to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold MBBS/MD with fellowship in Interventional Radiology, a UAE license or eligibility, and a proven track record in complex vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate radiology qualification with IR fellowship or equivalent.
• UAE licensing eligibility or valid DHA license in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging studies.
• Conduct vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Assess patients pre- and post-procedure and document results.
• Collaborate with referring physicians on treatment plans.
• Manage complications and provide clinical interventions.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and ensure safety standards.
• Support quality-improvement, audits, and CME activities.

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide advanced image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures while working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging studies as required
• Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures safely and effectively
• Evaluate patients before procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure follow-up
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians
• Manage procedural complications and provide appropriate clinical intervention
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, and complex case discussions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and procedure records
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety standards
• Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical education

Requirements

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology with appropriate fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Radiology
• Relevant post-specialization experience as required under UAE PQR requirements
• Valid professional license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain DHA licensing in Dubai
• Proven experience performing interventional radiology procedures
• Strong diagnostic, technical, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
