Job summary

Allocation Assist in Dubai seeks a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with American Board Certification to join a leading healthcare facility. The role focuses on invasive cardiology procedures, PCI and complex interventions within a high-volume centre.

You will diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases, perform angiography and PCI, and provide comprehensive patient care with on-call duties and collaboration across teams. A DHA license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Cardiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a tertiary/high-volume cardiac centre.
• Proven expertise in coronary angiography, angioplasty and PCI.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Experience in a Western healthcare institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases including CAD and ACS.
• Perform coronary angiography, angioplasty and PCI.
• Manage patients before, during and after interventional procedures.
• Provide emergency cardiac care and participate in on-call services.
• Interpret ECGs and echocardiograms and other assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to guidelines.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and CME.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes.
• Perform coronary angiography, angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
• Manage patients before, during, and after interventional cardiac procedures.
• Provide emergency cardiac care and participate in on-call services.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and other relevant cardiac investigations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical guidelines and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.
