Job summary

Client of Dr Expat seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist in Abu Dhabi to diagnose and treat complex cardiovascular diseases with minimally invasive techniques. The role requires performing coronary angiography, PCI, and peripheral interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate should have a Medical Degree, a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, and a DOH/DHA/MOH licence or eligibility, with 5–7 years of independent experience and Western training

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from a recognised institution.
• Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current DOH, DHA, or MOH Licence or Eligibility.
• Skilled in coronary and peripheral interventions and structural heart disease procedures.
• Minimum 5–7 years of independent interventional cardiology experience preferred.
• Western-trained candidates preferred.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Applications are welcome from both Specialist and Consultant level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assess diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Conduct peripheral vascular interventions.
• Manage structural heart disease procedures where applicable.
• Interpret cardiac imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Provide emergency cardiac intervention for acute coronary syndromes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac teams to optimise patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
• Stay updated with advancements in interventional cardiology techniques and technologies.

As an Interventional Cardiologist you will diagnose and treat patients with complex cardiovascular diseases using advanced minimally invasive interventional procedures.
