Position Overview

AKH Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join its advanced medical team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and managing complex endocrine disorders with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions
• Lead outpatient and inpatient endocrine services ensuring high standards of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient management
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical education and training
• Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement and research initiatives
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards

Qualifications & Licensing

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent), Specialist Certification in Endocrinology (DM, Board Certification, etc.)

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Consultant Endocrinologist

Valid UAE license or eligibility for HAAD/DHA/MOH licensing

Proficiency in Arabic and English preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
