SearchPlus HR is recruiting an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a leading government healthcare facility in the UAE. You will join an advanced surgical team to deliver expert care for complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, or Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
• Western qualification (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Royal College, Australian FRACS, SA Board) preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience, ideally at consultant level.
• Extensive experience in complex cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.
• Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other advanced surgeries.
• Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other professionals.
• Maintain surgical records and participate in audits, teaching and CME.
