Job summary

We Care Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant Cardiologist for a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, delivering advanced cardiovascular care in hospital and clinic settings.

You will assess, diagnose, and manage diverse cardiovascular conditions, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, lead outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds, respond to emergencies, and contribute to teaching and quality improvement while ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Cardiology, with proven experience managing complex cardiovascular cases.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine, including rapid assessment and management of acute cardiac presentations.
• Background in training, mentoring, or supervising junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic tests, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and other physicians. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds, responding to cardiac emergencies, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and participating in case discussions. The consultant is also expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, engage in teaching and training of junior medical staff, and maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree and board certification or equivalent qualification in Cardiology.
• Valid or eligibility for relevant professional licensing in the United Arab Emirates.
