The role entails performing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures and managing pre- and post-operative patients within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Applicants should hold MBBS/MD or equivalent, with a recognized specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization/consultant experience.
• Surgical logbook and documented operative experience may be required for UAE licensing.
• Eligible for DHA/DOH/MOHAP Consultant licensing.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves performing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, managing pre- and post-operative patients, and working within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.

Recognized specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery / Cardiac Surgery.

Tier 1 / Western qualification preferred, such as:

• UK CCT/FRCS
• American Board of Thoracic Surgery
• Canadian Royal College
• Australian FRACS
• European Board or equivalent.

Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization/consultant experience.

Strong independent experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery, including CABG, valve surgery and other complex procedures.

Eligible for DHA/DOH/MOHAP Consultant licensing.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Surgical logbook and documented operative experience may be required for UAE licensing.
