Job summary

PulseHire HR Middle East seeks a Consultant Anesthesiologist for a leading UAE healthcare provider. The role focuses on advanced operating theatres, perioperative medicine, and care for an international patient population in a modern, quality-driven setting.

The successful candidate will deliver consultant-level anesthesia across elective and emergency surgeries, perform pre-anesthetic assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• American Board of Anesthesiology or equivalent qualification.
• UK CCT/FRCA, European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.
• Royal College Certification (Canada) or Arab Board.
• MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Eligible for UAE licensing and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level anaesthesia care for elective and emergency cases.
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments and perioperative optimisation.
• Provide general, regional, neuraxial and monitored anaesthesia care.
• Manage airway emergencies and postoperative recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists and theatre teams to ensure patient safety.
• Support clinical governance and quality improvement in theatre services.
