We Staffed HR is seeking a skilled anesthesiologist to join our medical team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role delivers safe anesthesia care across surgical and procedural settings, collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

You will assess patients preoperatively, administer various anesthesia types, monitor intraoperative and recovery phases, manage airway and hemodynamics, and contribute to pain management and postoperative recovery

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Relevant hospital-based anesthesia experience.
• Proficient in modern anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Anesthesiologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective anesthesia care across surgical and procedural settings, while working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients before procedures and determine the most appropriate anesthesia and perioperative management plan.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia according to the clinical requirements of each case.
• Monitor patients continuously throughout anesthesia, surgery, and the immediate recovery period.
• Manage airway, ventilation, hemodynamic stability, pain control, and other critical physiological parameters.
• Recognize and promptly manage anesthesia-related complications and medical emergencies.
• Provide perioperative care for patients with complex medical conditions and varying levels of surgical risk.
• Support postoperative pain management and contribute to enhanced recovery protocols.
• Participate in emergency procedures, resuscitation, and critical care activities when required.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient-care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, anesthesia records, and relevant medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient-safety standards, infection-control procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality-improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education.
• Contribute to the training and supervision of junior doctors, residents, and other healthcare professionals where applicable.

Clinical Scope

The role may involve anesthesia services for:

Candidate Profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Relevant clinical experience in a hospital-based anesthesia department.
