Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Safety Officer to carry out day-to-day health and safety operations on the project site and support the implementation of effective HSE management.

The candidate will be knowledgeable in safety standards, civil construction, and emergency procedures; hold OSHA H2S awareness, basic fire fighting, and preventive medicine training; and possess a UAE driving license. Fluency in English and experience in risk assessment reporting are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or safety with two years of field experience.
• OSHA H2S awareness, Basic Fire Fighting, Preventive Medicine training is required.
• Knowledge of DM and RTA safety standards and traffic management.
• Experience in risk assessment and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day health and safety operations on the project site.
• Contribute to the implementation of effective HSE management.
• Prepare and manage safety records and activity reports.
• Supervise traffic diversions schemes at work zones; assist with emergency procedures.
