The Construction Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of building works by overseeing all on-site construction activities. What You’ll Drive
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities related to building works including civil structural architectural and finishing works.
- Plan organize and coordinate construction resources including site teams subcontractors plant equipment and materials.
- Translate project schedules into execution plans and monitor progress productivity and performance.
- Ensure full compliance with Health Safety Quality Environmental schedule and cost requirements.
- Contribute to technical deliverables such as method statements planning and execution strategies.
- Set clear direction and expectations for construction teams subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure all works comply with contract specifications approved drawings standards and authority requirements.
- Coordinate closely with engineering planning QA/QC HSE and commercial teams.
- Resolve technical and execution issues and manage site coordination challenges.
- Support subcontractor selection and oversee their performance and compliance.
- Monitor quantities productivity and resource utilization to support cost control.
- Maintain communication with the client and participate in key project and site meetings.
- Oversee testing commissioning snagging and handover activities.
- Provide accurate reporting on progress risks and constraints to the Project Manager.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture ensuring full compliance with safety regulations and life‑saving rules.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Possess relevant professional certifications (an advantage).
- Have a minimum of 12 15 years of construction experience including at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role within building projects.
- Demonstrate proven experience managing major building construction projects preferably in the Middle East.
