Job summary

Our client, a major international contractor, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead a large ADNOC offshore/island civil and building project in Abu Dhabi. The role is offshore with island-based responsibilities and regular travel to site.

Candidates must have a building contractor background with extensive civil/building construction experience and offshore project exposure; ADNOC approved candidates will be given priority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 12 years of experience in civil/building construction on large-scale projects, offshore experience preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Island/offshore project experience preferred; willingness to work on island-based project.
• ADNOC approved candidates will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil and building construction works including foundations, concrete structural works, masonry finishing, roads and infrastructure.
• Lead construction teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Review drawings, coordinate with consultants and resolve site issues.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, progress and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging and final handover.

Our client is a major international contractor. They specialise in buildings & civil engineering projects. They are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a major ADNOC offshore/island civil and building project. The position is OFFSHORE in Abu Dhabi with regular travel to the island/offshore site.

This is a building project and not oil and gas. All candidates must be from a building contractor background.

Location: Abu Dhabi Island-Based Project

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise civil and building construction works including foundations concrete structural works masonry finishing roads and infrastructure.
• Lead construction teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Review drawings coordinate with consultants and resolve site issues.
• Monitor manpower materials equipment progress and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections testing snagging and final handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12 years of experience in civil/building construction preferably on large-scale projects with specific experience building projects. Off shore experience would be highly desired.
• Strong hands-on experience in building construction and civil works.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Island/offshore project experience is preferred.
• Willing to work on an island-based project.
• ADNOC APPROVED CANDIDATES WILL BE GIVING PRIORITY

SALARY IS AED 30-35000 PER MONTH ALL EXPENSES PAID WHILE OFFSHORE
