Job summary

TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH is seeking a senior Construction Manager with extensive experience in major sewerage tunnel wastewater and underground infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role demands leading large tunnelling programs, coordinating TBM/NATM methods, and managing civil works, MEP, and interfaces with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction management of major sewerage tunnel wastewater and underground infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as Construction Manager or equivalent on large-scale tunnelling projects preferably involving TBM shafts and underground structures.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, programme, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate tunnelling shaft construction civil works MEP and associated wastewater infrastructure activities.
• Manage Contractors and subcontractors monitor progress resolve site issues and coordinate interfaces with the Client and Consultant.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 5 years specifically managing large-scale tunnel projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in tunneling methods (e.g., TBM, NATM) and underground construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and HSE.
• Coordinate tunnelling shaft construction civil works MEP and wastewater infrastructure activities.
• Manage Contractors and subcontractors and coordinate interfaces with Client and Consultant.
