Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the build of commercial and residential projects in Abu-Dhabi. You will manage design, budgeting, scheduling, quality control and safety, leading a team of contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

The role requires strong English communication, independence as well as teamwork, and a willingness to relocate if needed. Knowledge of codes and regulations is essential, with a focus on site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Willingness to relocate if required

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction project, including design, budgeting, scheduling, quality control and safety management.
• Lead a team of contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely, efficient project completion.
• Monitor site progress with regular inspections to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Prepare reports on progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Provide leadership during problem-solving situations on site.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing on materials and services.
