Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Construction Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE to lead on-site execution of oil and gas projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in brownfield developments, EPC contractor environments, and proven leadership of large on-site teams supporting project delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 20+ years in Oil & Gas, and at least 10 years as Construction Manager in the sector, with 5+ years in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 20+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Construction Manager in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 5 years’ experience as Construction Manager in the Middle East.
• SMP Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager experience is required.
• ADNOC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site construction activities and deliver planned progress.
• Lead and manage all direct and indirect manpower on site.
• Engage with EPC contractors or subcontractors to ensure project milestones.
• Maintain strong communication in English with cross‑functional teams.

Summary:

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Engineer with formal qualifications and would have the following key skills:

• Should have experience in installing feed gas compressor to deliver gas to the desired operating parameters (mainly desired pressure).
• Should have experience in brownfield project.
• ADNOC experience is preferred.

Anticipated Roles and Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree IN Engineering
20 years or more experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Construction Manager in the Oil & Gas Projects.
• At least 5 years’ experience working as a Construction Manager in the Middle East Countries
• SMP Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager experience required.
• Prefer global EPC Contractor or Sub-Contractor experience.
• Having leadership quality to manage all indirect and direct manpower on site and deliver the planned progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
