Job summary

Emarat Aloula Contracting seeks an experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee utilities and infrastructure EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage day‑to‑day construction activities, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires 8–12 years of UAE EPC experience, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate across engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and client teams. UAE driving license preferred.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of UAE EPC construction experience.
  • Experience in pipeline construction and site supervision.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on large infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of utility authorities (Transco/TAQA/ADDC/ADSSC) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site construction activities to meet milestones safely, on time and within budget.
  • Lead day-to-day construction operations for utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Supervise project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Review plans, drawings, and specs for EPC contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and QA/QC for timely materials and site readiness.
  • Oversee civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and conduct safety audits.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for management and client.
  • Identify risks, delays and cost impacts; suggest mitigations.
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Document inspections and handover requirements; support commissioning.

Job description

Oversee and manage the execution of utilities and infrastructure projects under EPC contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all site construction activities to ensure achievement of project milestones safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining quality and client requirements.
  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day construction operations for utilities and infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Supervise and direct the work of project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Review and monitor project plans, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with EPC contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely material delivery and site readiness.
  • Oversee all phases of construction activities, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and statutory regulations, conducting regular site safety audits and toolbox meetings.
  • Monitor progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client review.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and cost impacts.
  • Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work activities, inspections, and project handover requirements.
  • Support commissioning and handover processes in coordination with QA/QC and project control teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of relevant UAE experience in EPC construction, preferably in utilities, water transmission, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in pipeline construction and site supervision.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts, project execution methodologies, and site coordination.
  • Knowledge of Transco, TAQA, ADDC, ADSSC, or other utility authority requirements preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera) and MS Office applications.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
  • UAE Driving License preferred.
