Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee daily site operations on our active construction client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise in carpentry, proficiency in AutoCAD for site planning and documentation, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on‑site to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Oversee carpentry work, including framing, formwork, and finish installations, ensuring precision and compliance with design specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to review and interpret construction drawings, modify site plans, and prepare work instructions for team members.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Manage and allocate labor resources efficiently, assigning tasks based on skill level and project needs.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of work.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, material usage, labor hours, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored, and that safety gear is available and used correctly.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to senior management in English and Arabic.
  • Use a valid driving licence to transport personnel, materials, and documentation between sites and offices as required.
  • Enforce compliance with local construction regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in construction site supervision, preferably in commercial or residential building projects.
  • Proven expertise in carpentry, including framing, formwork, and finish work, with a strong understanding of building materials and techniques.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for reading, interpreting, and modifying construction drawings and site plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Valid and current driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience supervising diverse work crews.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent safety standards and experience implementing safety procedures on‑site.
  • Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and resolve on‑site issues efficiently.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments and variable weather conditions.
