WSA are looking for talented and innovative Concept Design Architects to join our concept focused design team in Dubai. You will be part of our team that shapes the visual and functional aspects of our projects.

You will possess a strong background in architectural design, with a focus on conceptual development and an ability to translate ideas into compelling designs. Your work will encompass various types of projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces, ensuring that each design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable.

Your creative vision will help in developing design concepts that resonate with our clients and meet their needs. Working in close collaboration with colleagues in our technical architectural and engineering teams, you will brainstorm ideas and present concepts to internal team and client. This role requires a blend of artistic flair and technical expertise, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative design concepts that align with client objectives and project requirements.
2. Create concept architectural drawings, models, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
3. Conduct analysis and research to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and design codes.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and interior designers, to integrate all aspects of the project.
5. Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance ideas.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate sustainable practices in design.
7. Mentor junior architects and interns, providing guidance and support throughout their development.
8. Participate in client meetings and workshops to foster strong relationships and understand their vision.

Preferred Candidate:

1. A degree in Architecture from a recognised institution, with a strong portfolio showcasing concept design work.
2. Proven experience in conceptual architectural design, preferably in a similar role within the architecture industry.
3. Exceptional creativity and an eye for detail, with the ability to think outside the box.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design ideas effectively.
5. Proficiency in design software including Rhino, SketchUp and Revit.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and an understanding of environmental impact considerations.
9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
