You will plan engaging programming and digital literacy activities, assess progress, and contribute to curriculum development with a collaborative, reflective approach.

We seek a qualified Computing/CS teacher with GCSE experience, strong classroom practice and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification and degree in Computing or Computer Science.
• Strong NCfE knowledge and experience teaching Computing/CS; GCSE experience desirable.
• Proficient programming and computational thinking with engaging, practical lessons.
• Proven track record of securing strong student outcomes.
• Excellent classroom practice, behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned with the NCfE.
• Set high expectations and create inclusive, purposeful learning environments.
• Use assessment to adapt teaching, provide feedback and intervene when needed.
• Contribute to Computing curriculum planning, moderation and progression.
• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science and related pathways.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage with families to share progress.
• Participate in wider school life, enrichment and pastoral responsibilities.
