Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks a Computer Engineer to design, develop and maintain computer hardware and software systems and to ensure the reliability of IT infrastructure. You will contribute to hardware design, software integration, and system upgrades in a demanding environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of hardware, OS, networks and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles including processors, memory, storage and networking equipment.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java or Python.
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux or MacOS.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or Oracle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop computer systems and components, including processors, memory devices, storage devices and networking equipment.
• Conduct testing and debugging of hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other engineers and team members to design and implement new features or system upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases and security systems.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise with hardware or software components, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in computer technology to make recommendations for improvements.
• Document system designs, configurations and changes for future reference.
