Job summary

Freelancer Prox in Dubai, UAE is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse to provide specialized terminal illness care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients in their final days.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans.

The role requires a UAE nursing license and at least 2 years in hospice or palliative care, with strong communication and empathy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current nursing license in the United Arab Emirates would be preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospice or palliative care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document patient's condition and report any changes to the physician.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to address any medical needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow all hospice policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
