Job summary

Woopel in Abu-Dhabi UAE is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The role supports individuals with disabilities or special needs and involves daily living assistance, safety monitoring, and emotional support.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and can communicate effectively in English. You will work with families and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated plan of care, documenting changes as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of safety practices for individuals with special needs or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day assistance to individuals with special needs or disabilities.
• Monitor and assess the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of the individual.
• Create a stimulating environment that promotes the individual's independence.
• Ensure safety of the individual at all times.
• Assist with daily activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, etc.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Coordinate with families and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive plan of care for the individual is being followed.
• Administer medications according to healthcare provider instructions.
• Document any changes in the individual's health or behavior.
