Job summary

PPOAR in Abu-Dhabi is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team immediately. The role involves assisting elderly patients with daily activities, mobility, and basic medical tasks, along with housekeeping and companionship.

We welcome foreigners to apply and offer a supportive, patient-centered work environment. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of caregiving experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in caregiving or elder care.
• Excellent understanding of medical terminology.
• Ability to follow directions from a medical professional regarding patient care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with elderly patients, their families, and other health professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge of basic first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to elderly patients and their families.
• Assist with daily activities such as meals, bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance.
• Manage accompanying medical needs as directed by clinicians.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
